So, a Cadillac Escalade and a BMW 650i gran coupe were pulled up at a stop light together. Then it hit me. Look at the high brake light on the BMW, and now look at the Escalade.
I do not like the way BMW did the third brake light now.

I've always seen this and thought that BMW did it better . I can spot that thing from a mile away and smile, it looks smooth.

Yes, but knowing that Cadillac has a similar design made it somewhat cheesy.

The design may be similar, but a solid line across the back of the BMW looks nicer. The led strip across the back of the Escalade looks cheap in comparison. For me, I think the execution is what counts.

Well yeah, the old Escalade was all chromed and blinged out. Now whenever I see a 6 series gran coupe I think of an Escalade.

I wish more cars had the center high mount stop lamp at the top of the rear glass. Full width or not may be a matter of taste, but that is the most logical location.
It always kind of irks me when cars have them down low, pretty much between the regular tail lights.
Old GM minivans actually had the CHMSL *LOWER* than the regular tail lights.
